NEW TO OUR STUDIO
If you are reading this then you probably have a desire to be fully prepared for your first classes at The Lab. Below are 4 general areas that you’ll want to complete or familiarize yourself with before you arrive at the studio. When in doubt, arrive 20-30 minutes before the start of your first class with comfy stretchy clothes and we can take care of you.
Generally speaking, we recommend that all new students start with purchasing the Introductory Month, plan to practice 2-3 times a week for the first month, and then come in and try out all the classes, times, styles and teachers. Don’t worry if you aren’t able to practice as often as you scheduled – it is intended to help you determine what direction you’ll go in at the end of your 30 days. Once your month is complete, if you were able to keep up with the 2-3 class times, then you’ll know that you fall in the first column of purchase options. If you struggled with that commitment, no worries, we have options for you too; you’ll fall in line with the second column.

At The Lab we pride ourselves in having exceptionally trained teachers in both the lineage and philosophy of where yoga comes from, but also in the modern direction that yoga is headed in. We have classes that range from beginner friendly, to moderately advanced, from meditation style classes, to set sequences-ish all the way to wildly sequenced classes that get your blood flowing. If you need to slow down and enjoy more mindful strength training, we’ve got that too. Not sure where to start?
