SHEM ROBERTS

Shem was first introduced to hot yoga as a means to cope with a loss but ended up staying for the extended savasana. While initially hesitant to try hot yoga, its concepts quickly grew on him as he realized it acted as a mental and physical reset for his life. Daily practice, obsession, and eventually his first teacher training July 2017 at Moksha Yoga Kelowna. His personal practice is all about meditative long holds, focusing on containment and flexibility.  Shem is a road and mountain cyclist and finds himself in the hot room to relax and regain composure.
