CORE FIT

Core Fit is a challenging, strength based, 60 minute yoga class using the bars, resistance bands, and exercise balls that compliments your regular yoga practice perfectly.  This class is not a ‘Fit’ness class in the sense that we are going to push you beyond your limits and challenge you to grow robust muscles.  This class will deliver a mindful, breath focused experience incorporating some resistance training, balls and Barre work with a different focus each time you come in.  You will find that in time your joints are more stable, and your yoga practice less strenuous.

Class capacity is 15, so be sure to pre-register online.

A couple of important notes about pre-registering online:

  1. The classes capacity is 15.  12 of which are pre-registered online sign-ups, and 3 for walk-ins. If you can’t get into the class online, just show up.  We don’t have many students just arriving, so you will almost always get a spot.
  2. If you pre-register for the class and not show up, we will mark this on your file.  After 3 strikes, we’ll suspend your ability to sign-in online for 3 months.  We hope that you understand that no-showing to a class takes away from another student’s ability to enjoy the studio.
  3. Early Cancel Cut off- if you can early cancel from a class 3 hours before the class start time, there will be no penalty on your file.
  4. Please ensure that you arrive a minimum of 10 minutes before the class starts.  If you do not, we will assume that you are late cancelling and we will give your spot to the next chap waiting in line.

Emphasis on PNF stretching and restoring above building strength.

A meditation and yoga class that introduces students to the philosophy and history of 'yoga'.

YANG YIN

A blended class of flow that transitions into yin postures half way through.

Long, deep holds to relax and restore joints and muscles.
